Does AI think for itself?
Celebrating 300 years since Kant's birthday, Goethe-Institut Zypern has just launched a new podcast dedicated to Kant's philosophy, hosted by me and a Cypriot stand-up comedian, Champis. The podcast is addressed to the general public, trying to avoid jargon as much as possible. Each episode invites Kant experts who are asked to give their expert opinion on the topic of discussion.
Dive into thought-provoking discussions with host Dr. Christos Hadjioannou and expert guests as they unravel Kant’s ideas on understanding, ethics, reality, freedom, and aesthetics. Each episode brings Kant's theories to life, connecting them to today’s hot topics like artificial intelligence, animal rights, the metaverse, and social media. Get ready for engaging conversations and relatable examples that make complex philosophical concepts accessible and relevant to everyday life. Tune in and discover why Kant’s insights still matter today!
The first episode, titled Does AI think for itself? was just released today, and the invited expert in this episode is Dr Sofie Møller (University of Cologne).
